The house was built in the mid-1800's and is located within the City boundaries. Joppa and Portobello are distinct residential communities and developed as Edinburgh expanded. The area became a popular resort as cheaper travel enabled families to take the sea air. Donkey rides are no more but the peace remains!

We are only 3 miles from the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, and have panoramic views across the Firth of Forth. Buses are frequent during the day and continue into the early hours.
